I am not a nail technician, and this site does not pretend otherwise. I am the engineer who built it, and the editor who decides what goes on it.

All Lacquered Up started the way most of my projects do: with a problem I kept watching people have. Forty saved screenshots, one salon appointment, and a manicure that looked like none of them. The inspiration was everywhere; the words to ask for it were nowhere. So I built the site I wished those screenshots came with, where every look carries its real colour palette, an honest difficulty, the shape it flatters and one sentence you can read out across the manicure table.

My job here is research, curation and editing. I track what people actually search for and save, on Google and Pinterest, season by season, and I choose the looks from that data rather than from press releases. I write the briefs for the concept images, reject the ones with wrong hands or impossible nail work, and write or edit the notes on every page. When a nail tech tells me a technique note is wrong, the page changes.

I live in Islamabad, Pakistan, and run Pixel & Oak, a small web design and AI development studio. Corrections and honest feedback are the most useful mail I get.

What I do here

Every one of the 330 looks on All Lacquered Up is chosen, written and checked by me: the palette, the honest difficulty, the shape it flatters and the one sentence you hand your nail tech. The design previews are AI-crafted concept images that I brief, review and reject when the hands or the nail work are wrong — the full method is in the editorial policy.
